The AIT K Series HD Videoscope helps teams inspect engines, turbines, compressors, gearboxes, castings, tubes and tight assemblies without teardown. Its motor-driven probe gives steady joystick control through short or long access paths, while modular 1 mm to 8 mm probe choices match the scope to the job. HD imaging, temperature alerts, comparison measurement and hot-swap power help teams reach the target, record evidence and decide next steps. Built for MRO, power generation, defense, plant maintenance and QA teams that need one adaptable RVI camera for varied internal inspection work across field sites and busy shop floors.
No disassembly. No response lag. No lost time.
Motor-driven joystick control, 360° all-way articulation, and a 210° bending angle help operators navigate long, angled, or awkward inspection paths with better probe-tip control.
Interchangeable 1.0mm to 8.0mm probes, front/side/dual-view options, and lengths up to 30m help teams match the videoscope to access size, reach, and inspection surface.
A 5.7-inch HD touchscreen, 1920×1080 display, five-step LED lighting, and up to 2MP camera options help inspectors view internal defects more clearly.
Measurement tools, image capture, MP4 video recording, annotation, TF storage, and built-in reporting help turn inspection findings into usable records.
Hot-swap batteries, charging while in use, HDMI mirroring, USB-C, IP64-rated probe and lens, and a 3.5 lb handheld design support shop and field inspection workflows.
Real-time temperature warnings at 70°C and 80°C, with alarm/shutdown at 85°C, help reduce the risk of probe damage during hot-section inspection work.
Some inspections are simple. Others are not. The problem usually starts when one fixed borescope has to handle different access points, inspection depths, camera angles, surfaces, temperatures and reporting needs.
That is where the AIT K Series becomes useful. It is built as a configurable inspection platform for teams that need to move between different internal inspection tasks without starting over with a different tool every time.
Buying from AIT adds another layer of value: you are not left guessing which probe diameter, cable length or camera view fits your application. AIT helps match the K Series configuration to the actual inspection environment before quote, so the selected setup makes sense for the job.
Bottom line: the K Series is for teams that have outgrown basic camera access and need a videoscope setup that can adapt to the inspection, not the other way around.

Match probe diameter to your smallest access opening, the K Series runs 1.0mm to 8.0mm. Openings under 3mm only support front-view, non-articulating or 2-way probes; openings of 6mm or larger unlock full 4-way 360° articulation, all three camera views, and working lengths up to 10 meters. Check the Probe Matrix table above for your exact combination, or send your access size to AIT for confirmation.
The K Series is built for teams that need more than basic visual access. It combines motor-driven articulation, modular 1 mm to 8 mm probe options, HD imaging, hot-section temperature warnings, comparison measurement, hot-swap power, and onboard reporting in one configurable platform.
A single-purpose borescope can work for one access point or one inspection type. The K Series is better suited for teams that inspect different assets, probe diameters, working lengths, and viewing angles across MRO, power generation, QA, defense, and plant maintenance work.
For long or complex access paths, motor-driven articulation is a major advantage. The K Series is designed to maintain joystick-controlled probe movement where mechanical systems can lose feel as insertion length increases.
Choose a motor-driven videoscope when the access path is long, tight, curved or difficult to repeat. Joystick-controlled articulation helps technicians guide the probe tip with steadier response than systems that rely only on mechanical cable feel.
Send the access opening, required working length, asset type, inspection environment, target defect and preferred camera view if known. AIT can use that information to recommend a better-fit K Series configuration.
