Mentor Zoom is a portable industrial PTZ inspection camera system built for remote visual inspection of tanks, vessels, large assets, and difficult-to-access areas. Available with 70 mm or 130 mm camera heads, it combines long-distance deployment, precise camera positioning, and 3D-supported inspection workflows in one platform.
Authorized Channel Partner: Advanced Inspection Technologies is an authorized channel partner for Waygate Technologies, a Baker Hughes business.
Use 10x or 30x optical zoom to examine targets from a remote camera position.
Choose between 70 mm and 130 mm camera-head options based on physical access and inspection requirements.
Joystick, pan, tilt, tap-to-point, and zoom controls support precise remote camera positioning.
Generate colored 3D meshes to preserve spatial information around inspection findings.
Use standard long cable configurations or request a custom cable length for extended access routes.
Dual hot-swappable batteries support operation where continuous AC power may not be practical.
Mentor Zoom combines a portable control unit, removable Full HD touchscreen, camera cable, and either a 70 mm or 130 mm PTZ camera. Both camera heads provide 1920 x 1080 imaging at 60 fps and continuous 360-degree pan capability.
The 130 mm camera provides 30x optical zoom, up to 4000 lumens, and a rotating LiDAR module with a listed 3D scan range from 100 mm to 25 m. The 70 mm camera provides 10x optical zoom and an integrated 8 x 8 time-of-flight array with a listed scanning range from 150 mm to 2.4 m.
Designed for inspections where camera access size is a major selection factor.
Built for applications requiring greater optical reach, illumination, and longer-range 3D scanning.
Joystick, tap-to-point, and zoom-to-rectangle controls help operators position the camera and inspect specific areas remotely.
Both camera heads support colored 3D meshes and include an integrated IMU for spatial inspection workflows.
Mentor Zoom can be configured around smaller access requirements, longer viewing distances, extended cable runs, and 3D-supported inspection documentation. Matching the camera head and cable configuration to the inspection geometry helps avoid selecting equipment that cannot reach or clearly document the target.

Yes. Mentor Zoom is designed for remote visual inspection in active industrial environments, allowing operators to inspect internal assets without requiring system shutdowns or disassembly.
The system’s compact camera heads and precise pan-and-tilt control allow smooth navigation through tight bends, vertical risers, and complex internal structures while maintaining stable imaging.
Unlike basic push cameras, Mentor Zoom combines high-definition imaging, powerful optical zoom, 3D scanning capability, and advanced illumination in a modular system designed for industrial-grade inspection depth and accuracy.
Yes. The system is designed for modular deployment, allowing operators to select and deploy the appropriate camera head based on inspection requirements and access constraints.
3D scanning provides spatial context and dimensional understanding of defects, helping teams measure, document, and compare asset conditions more accurately than 2D video alone.
Yes. The system is engineered for industrial environments, including high-radiation zones, with specified tolerance levels depending on configuration and deployment setup.
Cable selection depends on inspection depth and access route complexity. Options range from short coiled cables for confined spaces to long-reach reels up to extended lengths for deep asset inspections.
