MC30 overview

The minCam MC30 is the small pipe inspection camera in the minCam family. Its 29 mm KK29SL head is the smallest self-leveling head in the line, so the picture stays upright through the 2 in. bends that small drains and process lines throw at a camera. 100 ft (30 m) of 6.7 mm push rod, a detachable 7 in. sunlight-readable control unit, and a frame one person carries make it the system for 1.5 in. to 6 in. work in plants, boiler rooms, and buildings.

Why the MC30

• 29 mm self-leveling head. Enters 1.5 in. (40 mm) bore and keeps the image upright, so clock positions in the recording match the pipe.
• 100 ft (30 m) of 6.7 mm push rod. Flexible enough for 90° bends from 2 in. (50 mm), long enough for most floor drain, branch line, and boiler tube runs.
• Pressure-tight to 10 bar (145 psi). Works in flooded drains and lines under head.
• 512 Hz location sonde in the head. Standard locators find the camera under a slab or floor so the crew can mark the repair point.
• Detachable 7 in. sunlight-readable control unit. Distance counter, SD recording, and stepless light control stay with the operator.
• Records video and stills to SD card with the distance stamp for the report.
• Stainless steel and carbon frame. Runs 2 to 3 hours per charge on the internal battery, or on AC.
