MC80 overview

The minCam MC80 is the longest-reach pipe inspection camera in the minCam line. 425 ft (130 m) of push rod on a wheeled stainless steel and carbon frame covers manhole-to-manhole runs and long process lines from a single access point. The KK55SL head self-levels so the picture stays upright through every bend, and the 8.4 in. control unit detaches from the reel so the operator can stand where the screen is easiest to read.

Why the MC80

• 425 ft (130 m) of reach. Long sewer, storm, and plant runs from one setup, which means fewer access points opened and fewer repositions per line.
• Self-leveling KK55SL head. The image stays upright through bends, so clock positions and defect locations in the recording match the pipe without mental rotation.
• 55 mm head, pressure-tight to 10 bar (145 psi). Keeps working in surcharged and flooded lines.
• Wheeled frame. One person moves 130 m of rod across a plant floor or from truck to manhole.
• Detachable 8.4 in. sunlight-readable control unit. Distance counter, recording controls, and light control stay with the operator.
• 512 Hz location sonde in the head. A standard locator finds the camera from the surface so the crew can mark the dig.
• Records video and stills to SD card with distance stamp. Text generator available as an option for on-screen annotation.
• Interchangeable heads. The same reel runs the smaller KK29SL for 1.5 in. to 6 in. lines, so one system covers laterals as well as mains.
• 2 to 3 hours per charge on the internal battery, or run on AC.
