MC50 Duo overview

The minCam MC50 Duo is a dual-reel pipe inspection camera: two push camera reels on one frame with one control unit. The main reel carries 200 ft (60 m) of 9.2 mm rod and the 55 mm KK55SL head for 3 in. to 16 in. lines. The inner reel carries 65 ft (20 m) of 6.7 mm rod and the 29 mm KK29SL head for 1.5 in. to 6 in. laterals, floor drains, and branch lines. A crew that runs both mains and small lines on the same job carries one system and switches heads at the control unit instead of going back to the truck.

Why the MC50 Duo

  • Two reels, one system. Mains and laterals on the same job without a second kit, a second battery, or a second set of recordings to merge.
  • Both heads self-level. Upright image through every bend on the 55 mm and the 29 mm head, so reports from either reel read the same way.
  • 29 mm KK29SL on the inner reel. Reaches 1.5 in. (40 mm) bore and turns 90° bends from 2 in. (50 mm), which a 55 mm head cannot enter.
  • Both heads pressure-tight to 10 bar (145 psi) and both carry a 512 Hz sonde, so locating works from either reel.
  • Detachable 8.4 in. sunlight-readable control unit with distance counter, SD recording, and stepless light control.
  • Stainless steel and carbon frame. Wheel set available for moving the loaded system across a plant floor.
  • 2 to 3 hours per charge on the internal battery, or run on AC.

Choose the MC50 Duo if

You regularly inspect both 3 in. to 16 in. mains and 1.5 in. to 6 in. laterals or drains on the same site. If your work is mains only, the minCam MC50 is the same main reel without the second camera.
