CoreView Small Diameter Videoscope Features and Benefits

  • The CoreView Videoscope is a 2.7mm (.108") diameter articulating video borescope that allows inspection of tight spaces and passages where other video borescopes cannot fit.
  • A short distal tip combined with a supper narrow bending section allows the CoreView Videoscope to navigate and turn the sharpest passageways.
  • Choice of dedicated 0° and 90° direction of view options offer the ability to inspect even more difficult areas.
  • The ergonomic articulation handle control design with real time tip motion shape holding capability makes the scope very easy to operate.
  • Internal over-torque system that allows the distal scope tip to survive an accidental removal from a part while still fully articulated.

Engineering & Manufacturing

Small diameter CoreView Videoscope provides cost-effective examination of internal structures without teardown. A small diameter videoscope allows engineers to check for pitting, cracking, corrosion, erosion, weld and other defects.

Quality Control

Super thin CoreView Videoscope instruments allow manufactures to inspect components for defects. Mini videoscopes provide the ability to inspect internal components, bore holes, castings and other manufactured items such as turbine blades, circuit boards, rifle barrels and welds.

Castings

The mini CoreView Videoscope can be used to inspect inside casting of engine blocks and other high quality casted components. videoscope instruments as small as 2.7mm in diameter and larger are offered to accommodate most casting inspection needs.

Aerospace

A CoreView Videoscope allows quality control, maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to be performed with the minimum downtime, while maximizing safety, efficiency and operational time. Video scopes allow Inspection of turbine blades and vanes (Stators and Rotors), combustion chambers, low pressure compressors and high pressure compressors and all passage ways that are extremely confined and require a truly flexible and small diameter instrument. Fuel Nozzles are another typical application that requires super a thin videoscope to inspect for blockage and other defects.
