Field of View

De Paul Fitzgerald  •   1 minute de lecture

The field of view of a borescope, videoscope, fiberscope or pipe camera is the cone of vision that extends from the objective tip. Typically, the wider the field of view the more surface area can be seen. However, the wider the field of view the less detail can be resolved.

Considerations

Some videoscopes offer a range of interchangeable tip objective with variable fields of view. Pipe cameras typically have very wide fields of view to see the side walls of the pipe.
