The Everest Mentor Flex VideoProbe is an industrial-grade inspection tool that combines advanced imaging technology with a rugged, ergonomic design, making it ideal for a wide range of challenging environments. Engineered to meet the rigorous demands of aerospace, automotive, energy, and manufacturing industries, this video borescope delivers reliable, high-resolution visuals of hard-to-reach areas, ensuring inspectors can confidently assess internal components, from turbine engines to complex piping systems.

Unmatched Articulation and Maneuverability

Equipped with an upgraded articulation system featuring high-power steering motors, the Mentor Flex offers exceptional control and flexibility. Inspectors benefit from a 42% increase in articulation range and 16% less friction, making navigation smoother and reducing wear over time. The device’s 360° All-Way® articulation allows seamless maneuvering through narrow inspection paths, enabling you to focus on capturing the most critical details.

Enhanced Imaging and Display

The Mentor Flex features a 5.8-inch WXGA LCD touchscreen with TrueSight™ technology, delivering vibrant, sharp images even in low-light conditions. Its intuitive multi-touch interface supports pinch-to-zoom, swipe, and pan gestures for an interactive and efficient inspection experience. The display is designed for daylight readability, offering optimal visibility across various lighting conditions, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Precision Measurement and Real-Time Annotations

With built-in stereo measurement capabilities, the Mentor Flex enables precise analysis of defects, dimensions, and surface conditions. Inspectors can select from different measurement modes, including Real 3D Stereo, which provides a complete 3D point cloud, and Stereo, which uses advanced triangulation for accurate distance and depth measurement. Integrated text and graphic annotation tools make it easy to mark and document specific areas of interest directly on the captured images or videos.

Robust Construction for Tough Environments

Constructed with a durable magnesium and polycarbonate housing, the Everest Mentor Flex is designed to withstand the demands of industrial environments. Its components meet the MIL-STD-810H standard for environmental durability, and its IP65 rating protects against dust and water ingress. The VideoProbe is also resistant to high humidity and operates effectively across extreme temperature ranges, ensuring reliable performance in harsh conditions.

Connectivity and Software Integration

The Mentor Flex integrates seamlessly with InspectionWorks Connect, enabling wireless video streaming and file transfers to iOS devices. Inspectors can instantly share findings with team members or clients, enhancing collaborative decision-making. The Menu Directed Inspection (MDI) software guides users through each inspection, automatically tagging images and generating customizable reports, reducing time spent on documentation and improving data consistency.

Versatile and User-Friendly Design

With probe diameters ranging from 3.9mm to 8.4mm and lengths up to 10 meters (or more upon request), the Mentor Flex can adapt to various inspection needs. Its lightweight, portable design and ergonomic controls make it comfortable to use during extended inspections. The system supports multiple languages and offers adjustable settings, including brightness, dark boost, and color saturation, allowing users to tailor the experience to each unique inspection environment.
