RiFlexio articulating push camera features and benefits

  • An articulating camera head allows the RiFlexio to be remotely steered in any direction desired, even vertical. This allows the camera to turn off where pipes join and go in any direction desired. No other push or pipe inspection camera can do this.
  • Remote focus camera allows the image to be adjusted for optimal resolution regardless of the camera head distance from the area being inspected.
  • Pan & rotate camera allows you to scan the entire area being inspected, not just straight ahead.
  • Text annotation allows logging of inspection notes (serial numbers, dates, condition, location etc.). This saves time and allows for better reporting without the need to retype hand written data.
  • Interchangeable camera heads allows you to take replace the RiFlexio module with a smaller axial or pan & rotate camera depending on the needs of your application.
  • Removable SD card records still images and video for later review and easy transfer to a pc for reporting or sharing via email.
  • Adjustable led lighting allows adjustment of the image in extremely dark and highly reflective areas. This provides the optimum image for inspecting a variety of push camera applications.
  • High-resolution day bright TFT display with 640 x 480 resolution provides the best image possible in any lighting environment.

Process lines need to be inspected for condition.  The RiFlexio push camera is perfect for navigating the complex geometry of pipes and connections to check pipe walls, welds and joints for pitting, corrosion, erosion, cracking, scaling and other problems.

Cleaning Validation can be performed at pharmaceutical and chemical plants with RiFlexio articulating push camera. Process lines at these plants need to be cleaned of previous product ingredients or the next batch may be contaminated.  The RiFlexio can negotiate larger pipes and long distances. The combination a pan & rotate camera with the ability to articulate will leave no area uninspected.

Steam feed lines need to be inspected for interior condition. The RiFlexio push camera can use the combination of articulation, pan and tilt and remote focus to see scale build up, pitting, corrosion, cracking and other defects with ease.

Locate foreign objects, loose parts and other debris in industrial piping. The RiFlexio has the ability to navigate almost anywhere with the long length cable, articulating head, and pan, rotate and remote focus push camera head. Once the RiFlexio push camera locates the foreign material it can then be used to direct retrieval tools to remove the objects without tear down.
