The Extreme Series of videoscopes offer a superior image for the budget conscious inspector. The Extreme series of videoscopes are different from typical videoscopes that utilize CCD image sensors. The Extreme videoscope utilizes a CMOS Imager which yields resolution better than conventional fiberscopes but not has crisp as CCD videoscopes. For most industrial applications fiberscopes are acceptable, however an Extreme videoscope offers a better image for digital image documentation.
