The iTool System is a practical new and user friendly Videoscope product at the cutting edge of industrial RVI. This system is easily transported, simple to setup and straightforward to use. Each iTool System has three primary components, an iTool Video Imaging Hub, an iSeries Videoscope and an iCase or iCase+. The iTool System is equipped with a selection of essential features that can be used to accomplish RVI tasks from simple visual checks to advanced inspection procedures.

Remote Imaging Technologies for Industrial Applications

Advanced Inspection Technologies Inc. offers a comprehensive selection of tools for industrial Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) applications.

RVI equipment can be used to view the interior of machinery, vessels, pipes and tubes without major disassembly, damage or destruction. RVI tasks are usually performed to detect anomalies and defects like degradation, deposits, erosion, corrosion, cracking, blockages and foreign-object damage.

Industrial Products

Advanced Inspection Technologies Inc. RVI product range features three different instrument types:

Videoscopes
Typically flexible instruments that have a tiny CCD (Charge-coupled device) solid-state camera built into the remote tip of the instrument to acquire images. Videoscopes are considered to be the most advanced and high tech of RVI instruments.

Flexible Fiberscopes
As the name implies, Fiberscopes rely on fiber optics to transmit remote images. Fiberscopes are the best known RVI instruments and have been the workhorse of industrial RVI for decades. Fiberscopes are less expensive than Videoscopes and are available in smaller diameters than Videoscopes.


Rigid Borescopes
These are optical instruments like telescopes that use lenses to transmit an optical image. Rigid Borescopes have been around for much longer than Videoscopes or Flexible Fiberscopes. Applications for Rigid Borescopes are limited because the rigid nature of these instruments makes it difficult for them to reach the desired remote inspection area. When applications permit the use of Rigid Borescopes, very clear, high resolution images can be obtained. Rigid Borescopes are typically the least expensive of RVI instruments.

The iCapture Smart
A mini image capture and display device for use with Videoscopes and CCD Cameras. The iCapture features a bright LCD display to view live video or stored still images. Images can be effortlessly saved to a memory card for later transfer to a personal computer.
